ROUTE 424
PUTNEY HEATH - FULHAM, CRAVENS COTTAGE
London Bus Route 424 (Putney Heath-Fulham, Cravens Cottage) was born in 2001, and it partially replaced the withdrawn C4. It has been operated by Go Ahead London General from AF Putney depot with Dennis Darts ever since.
During the closure of Putney Bridge during Summer 2014, the route was split into two. The southern route, the 424S ran between Putney Common stand and Putney Heath, at that time the shortest route in London, whilst the northern route, the 424N, ran from Putney Bridge station to Cravens Cottage, although on match days as normal the route was curtailed to Munster Road and the Salisbury stand. |
